Not The Governments Money, Our Money

Many times throughout my life I have seen politicians on the news arguing about spending the taxpayers money. I've always thought that I knew what was right, let's face it, everyone thinks they have the correct answer at some point.



Recently watching the television I have realised that all the politicians are looking for is a popularity vote. You hear them say "we need more money in education", "the NHS needs help" and "small businesses need our support". It all sounds like a good argument, but at the end of the day that's all it is, an argument that goes nowhere.

Here we are, a country close to financial ruin and we are sending money to other countries to help them out. I have never once heard that someone has given us money, oh no, it's always the other way round.

"An Irishman and a Greek went for a drink, who paid for it. I did!"

We need to stop helping these countries and focus at home, we have schools closing and thousands of children who can't get educated. There are businesses going under and pubs closing because the government are turning a blind eye and prefer to make friends on the continent.

When you hear the budget get announced and they say everything will increase in price, do you think this will help make your life better? Of course not, it's made to give people in government more power and to get them more friends for when they want to stay at the top.
